desert art [ #desertx ]

Just in time for another trip to Palm Springs, I finally pulled out all my pics from the #desertx art installation.  

My PICA (Partner In Crime For Adventure) Kathy and I played hooky one day and took the short 1.5 hour drive from LA to Palm Springs - which is by far one of my favorite places on the earth - to see the Desert X Exhibit littered all over the area.  We were able to make it to just 4 out of 16 but each were thought evoking and so well done.  Some exhibits are still on display: here

I am so incredibly lucky to have a friend in Kathy because we are suckers for a novelty experience, she is great photog and we are supportive of each other's #ootd moments.  Not only that, she is an excellent listener and has a fabulous sense of humor.  Our next adventures include Salvation Mountain, The Neon Museum and an extensive exploration of Joshua Tree.  #basic
