on this day: annabelle turns one.

Annabelle is by far the most important person in our lives, the proudest piece of art we have ever created, and the absolute reason we live each day as we do. We are so extremely blessed she is a part of our lives and this girl needed a P A R T A Y - shoot, we waited for years for this little love, she (we) deserve it!

For Annabelle’s first, we were actually supposed to be in Ireland for a wedding, and unfortunately our dear cousin lost her amazing father around Christmas (we love you Sarah!) - the wedding has been postponed and we were able to successfully (and shockingly) cancel our airfare.

Although we would have loved to have been celebrating our Irish family, when this all came about, we switched gears and decided to do it U P for Annabelle’s 1st. Although Andrew’s initial desire was to ‘get a pony in the backyard’, I did put a lot of effort (without the pony) into this day - event planning is my PASSION and I wanted little Miss to look back and to know just how looney her mother was (is).

Among the madness of the start of 2020, we had family coming into town, taco carts were booked and the show did go on…complete with a disco ball, lots of rain, and friends who are family. The day was perfect and I am thrilled to show you details!

We’re over the rainbow that you’re here…
