all the feels of unexpected support

I travel a lot for work, which also requires a lot of driving.  During drive time, certain days I'll catch up with friends so I'll have phone conversations on the long stretch of road.  Other days I want to blare music,

Foster The People

Radio on full blast.

Some days I think.

I was telling a story one time to my friend Chelsea and she said something along the lines 'your life is like a movie' - which could mean so many different things. But what I think (hope) she meant by it is: I have been through some serious crazy - ness.  Truth.

Back to thinking while driving...

[ This is actually how I think...a little all over the place.  This is how I speak as well, only with lots of hand movements. ]

So. as I drive, I think.  And I started voice recording my thoughts because I really enjoy writing and figure when I stop I can get these ideas down on paper.

My story is tough to write sometimes, but it really does help.  I've been thinking of sharing my short 'stories' [ real life moments ] through this blog but I also want to incorporate the travel and the creative side of my life.  So, how?  How do I do all of that, cohesively?

Update:

the above has been in my draft ( with another chunk that I will share at a later date ) for at least two weeks.  Today a very very old friend - my bestie in first grade (?) wrote me words of inspiration.  And although I have received many comments of praise for sharing my story, this one just really touched me.  She didn't have to write those words.  I mean, I haven't seen her in more years than I can count and we recently reconnected on social media, so it's not like she has to save face by giving me the big thumbs up.  And that is what made is special and gave me the courage to continue.

With that being said: the story I was going to share is one I am not ready to share just yet.  It's tough.

While I have had this blog for years: 2017 is really going to be the time I give more of myself to it.  I'm really excited about it!

Thank you so much for all the support, means the world. xo
