comfort zone
I work in marketing. But am THE worst at marketing myself.
I needed to get out there with some sort of starting point after having a baby, but I didn’t know how. Scratch that. I knew how (I work in marketing, duh) - but I was super scared. My friend, Alexis ( NEW SITE COMIN’ SOON!) works with this adorably lovely photographer out of Sacramento and her and I have been talking about shooting together many times. She called, I committed and last minute I wanted to back out even right before she walked up to The Butcher’s Daughter. But I didn’t, and she filled up my creative tank a little fuller. Thank you Kim.
ALSO? I have this new little prop that makes me look even better, more put together. The best accessory - #bebépapp. So while I am not ‘where I want to be’ or perfectly confident in my new body, it was nice to be creative and on this side of the camera for once in a long while.
