amalfi [ coast ] always
Magic.
This beautiful, creative, colorful, special part of Italy will always a have a piece of my heart.
This was the second stop on our Europe 2018 Vacay and it will forever be my favorite land. It sparked so much from my visual brain that I felt refreshed and had so much to take home with me. Color sensory overload in the very best way!
Amalfi: Teeny, tiny, amazing coffee and with a hidden square that is something like you have never seen before. Its huddled with humans and yet has a charming feature that you can’t place. I purchased the most gorgeous watermark raw paper from that little square and I am fairly certain I will never get the nerve up to use it.
Positano: As dreamy as it looks plus? THE FOOD. Best risotto of my breathing living life. I couldn’t even deal with it. But the colors are all gorgeous and dreamy and pastel-y and basically what I would want my entire Pinterest board to look like. Andrew and I were both just mesmerized. We laid by the water in colorful beach chairs, drank spritz’ (mine non-alcoholic) and talked and it was just lovely relaxation surrounded by Italian seas. Heaven.
Capri: The people! They were so vibrant! We went on a van tour of the city, took the gondola up to the tippy top - the most amazing views, hands down - gawked at the millions of dollars in yachts floating in the Tyrrhenian Sea, and then (lé duh) had more pasta. The ferry ride alone over was fun, I mean we were truly living our best life.
I took something like 1200 pictures between the three stops, so I won’t bore you completely - here are my faves. All the heart eyes.
