wine country

Pretty sure I have mentioned before but, wine?  Is my fave.  I am not a big drinker otherwise, and really only a fan of red - but when it's a good red, there are not many things better in that moment.  

Andrew and I were in the Bay Area for a wedding in early October and we never stop without a visit to Sonoma, where one of my best friends lives.  Megan is not only consistently wonderful, but she is a breath of fresh air in a crazy world at times.  I can tell her anything and my husband loves her like a sister.  She is important to me, plain and simple.  And!  She works part time in the wine industry (score!)...So before heading to the city, we spent the day frolicking (literally) in the grapes.  

Sadly, the next day the area was hit with the worst fires of their time.  It's so incredible to me that we have these images just hours before the devastating blaze.  My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone effected.
